1. Order and Payment

We (Blackboard GmbH, Eimsbuetteler Chaussee 21, 20259 Hamburg), collect, save and use individual-related data of your order for duly fulfillment of the contract only. We do not pass on this data to other persons or companies except in case of a statutory obligation or for fulfillment of the contract. As far as we are obliged to save the data after fulfillment of the contract, we do so by protecting this data against normal or commercial use. In all other cases we delete the data without delay. You may establish and delete a customer account at any time. Without a customer account you have to state your order data for every new transaction via our e-shop.
The transmission of your order data is protected by the so called “secure socked layer”. This encryption method is used also by banks and is commonly considered as a secure way of data transmission.
Your payment by credit card is processed by the service of HUELLEMANN & STRAUSS ONLINESERVICES S.à.r.l., 1, Place du Marchè, 6755 Grevenmacher, Luxemburg. The data of your payment order is collected and used directly by this service for the only reason to process your payment order. We do not collect nor save any data of your payment.

2. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are tiny text files sent and stored on your computer. These text files are recognized by our shop-system to facilitate your order (shopping cart function, auto-completion of input) and to evaluate the function of our website (see below figure 4.). We do not allocate this cookie information to your individual-related data. Some cookies remain on your computer after the visit of our website for reasons of auto-completion of your input in case of a future visit of our website. You can block and delete also these cookies from your computer by adjustment of the settings of your browser (e.g. setting path of internet explorer: Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Settings resp. Tools/Internet Options/General).

3. Newsletter

To receive our newsletter you have to state your e-mail-address. The use of it is restricted to send you the newsletter. We do not pass on your e-mail-address to other persons or companies. It is recorded in our mailing list only and it is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe our newsletter. You may do that any time by clicking on the link “unsubscribe” at the bottom of every newsletter or by using the respective function on our website.

4. Google-Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics that is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files sent and stored on your computer to analyze the use of this website by your visit.
